About Grove House Practice

The practice building provides easy access for disabled people and for mums or dads with prams. All surgeries are on the ground floor for convenience. To the rear of the Health Centre there is a large public car park with disabled spaces available.

We are a full Primary Health Care Team and currently include eight general practitioners, a nurse practitioner, four practice nurses and one health care assistant as well as district nurses, health visitors, midwives and a full complement of non-medical support staff to support the efficient running of the practice, click here to view their profiles . We also have a ‘Patient Group’ which consists of up to 11 members all of whom are patients at the practice. We regularly meet on a monthly basis with the group to discuss specific issues and we rely on their assistance to help us to improve our services to our patients as we feel the patient’s point of view is essential if we are to provide an excellent service.

Together we aim to provide the very highest quality of care for the people within the Runcorn area. We constantly monitor our services to ensure we can improve and provide the best service. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Practice hours

The Practice is open between 8.30am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

GP appointments are usually available between 9.00 – 11.40 in the mornings and between 2.40 – 5.30 in the afternoons.

Outside these hours we offer an emergency on call service. Click here for more information.

Training and Development

From time to time the doctors, nurses and staff will need to take time out from their normal duties for training and development. We will always endeavour to provide you with sufficient notice of any practice closures for training or development purposes. During such periods adequate medical cover will always be maintained. The practice also undertakes training of healthcare professionals and medical students who may be present during your consultation if you agree.
