Flu Season Ahead

We will not be holding Drop in Clinics this year.

All Flu Vaccination appointments will be pre-booked.

This is so we can manage the amount of people within the building and follow government guidelines for social distancing.

Face coverings MUST be worn during the appointment and we still have a one way system in place.

While the Government is looking to extend groups, the initial groups to receive vaccinations are as follows:

  • Over 65s
  • 6 months – 65 in a Clinical At Risk Group
  • All children ages 2-3
  • Pregnant women
  • People in Residential homes on long stay terms
  • Children 4-11 (Please note that these will be done in schools)

We will be sending out messages and invite letters soon – once you get your letter please follow the instructions. Please DO NOT contact the Practice unless you have received an invite letter.

We are awaiting Government Guidance for 50-64 year olds, as the vaccine may be available to them later in the year as part of the second phase. However, if you are aged 50-64 in an at-risk group, you should not delay getting your flu vaccination.
