  • phone or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are

Questions about your results

If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our test results request form and someone will be in touch.

Pathology Results

Certain medical tests (e.g. blood tests, smear tests and ECGs) can be carried out at the practice, usually either by the Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or GPA. Pathology results are received back to the Practice electronically and some test results are available a week after the test. However, this timescale can vary depending on the test conducted and demand, so please bear with us.

At Grove House, the Clinician will explain to you why they need to carry out the tests that they are requesting. The Clinician will inform you that if you do not hear from the Practice within two weeks, your results are normal, but if you have any concerns or symptoms worsen, please contact our Reception team.

The Clinician may send you a SMS to inform you generally about a test or ask you to make an appointment or to repeat the test. This is only used for patients who are able to receive text messages.

You may phone Reception on: 01928 566561

You can also view your test results if you are registered with the NHS App. If you need help registering for the app, please speak to a member of our Reception team.

Please note that this Practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We usually only give test results to the person to whom they relate.
